To ensure that students have the opportunity to become well-rounded, socially responsible members of their communities, our students participate in many special programs and extra-curricular activities.
Additionally, our activities are designed to enhance the child’s spiritual, physical, emotional/social, and cognitive development, as well as the areas of language, literacy, and health.

Family Literacy Night
To instill the importance of reading, family members and the community at-large are invited to spend an evening meeting and listening to a presentation by a local author. Additionally, students have age-appropriate level books read to them by volunteers and all youths receive free books after enjoying a light dinner.
Seasonal Programs
Students perform and participate in programs, such as: Harvest Fest, Christmas Program, Black History Program, and African-American Read-in.
Career Day
Students have an opportunity to meet with a variety of employers and gain knowledge regarding career opportunities and the requirements for a variety of positions.
